Dr. Alejandro Cerrillo

Alejandro Cerrillo, O.D. has returned home to join our practice as a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist.

Dr. Cerrillo worked at our office as a technician and trained as a student while attending undergraduate school at The University of the Incarnate Word. After undergraduate school, he attended The Rosenberg School of Optometry at UIW, where he received the Doctor of Optometry degree with Magna Cum Laude Honors.

While in optometry school, Dr. Cerrillo received numerous awards such as the UIWRSO Clinical Excellence Award, UIWRSO Mission Award, and UIWRSO Leadership Award. Dr. Cerrillo conducted clinical research and presented his publication at the American Academy of Optometry.

In his free time, Dr. Cerrillo enjoys playing and singing with his mariachi group. He is a San Antonio native and speaks Spanish fluently.
